We are still getting inquiries about later licensing hours at the coming weekend when the country will be celebrating the Coronation of the King and Queen. You really dont need TENs this weekend (too late now anyway!) BUT the government has extended licensing hours generally on this occasion of national importance

The Licensing Hours Order under section 176 of the Licensing Act 2003 has the effect of extending hours for the sale of alcohol, late night refreshment and regulated entertainment from 11pm to 1am the following day, on Friday 5 May, Saturday 6 May, and Sunday 7 May.

I hope this will be a great weekend of business for our wonderful hospitality sector which has been very badly battered over the last two years.
